Welcome! We’re excited you’re here.

Each student that walks through our doors brings with them a unique story, aspirations, and dreams. It is within these stories that we find the inspiration to push ourselves even harder, to go the extra mile, and to continuously raise the bar for excellence in real estate education.

We take pride in being more than just an educational institution. We see ourselves as mentors, coaches, and advocates for our students. From a student’s first step into our academy to the day they pass the state test and beyond, we invest our time, knowledge, and expertise to ensure their success.

Our instructors, with their extensive real-world experience, instill not only the necessary technical skills but also the intangible qualities that make a real estate agent exceptional. We foster a growth mindset, encouraging our students to tap into their potential, embrace challenges, and constantly seek improvement.

Beyond the classroom, we create a supportive and collaborative community where students can connect and learn from one another. Our students learn to see each other not as competitors, but as allies in an ever-evolving industry, lifting each other up and celebrating collective achievements.

As educators, we continually challenge ourselves to stay at the forefront of industry advancements and trends. We understand that the real estate landscape is constantly evolving, and we adapt our curriculum to provide our students with the most relevant knowledge and skills. By doing so, we equip them with the tools they need to face any challenge head-on and thrive in today's dynamic real estate market.

Our passion for teaching and our love for all things real estate serve as the foundation that drives us daily. However, it is the incredible individuals we have the privilege of nurturing and guiding that truly ignites our fire. Their stories, their successes, and their growth inspire us to continuously push the boundaries of excellence and strive for greatness in everything we do!

Director & Lead Instructor

Steve Oliver

Ginger Oliver

My current function is Administrator for OREA. This role fits my personality because of my organizational skills and ability to help others stay on task. One of my goals as a business owner is to always treat people fairly, with respect and kindness. People are comfortable around me because they sense I genuinely care about others.

One of the greatest gifts my parents gave me was an entrepreneurial spirit. They made Real Estate Investment part of their financial portfolio in the early 80s, long before it was made popular from TV shows. Seeing the process of buying and selling houses during those early years has given me a unique perspective that I value and use to this day.

I have owned several successful businesses and attribute their success to my early experiences in my parents' business. I witnessed how to care for people through honest hard work, determination, and self-motivation.

In my spare time, I enjoy gardening, cooking, spending time with my children and grandchildren, and cleaning and decorating our family home.

Academy Administrator

Jory Oliver

Jory, the oldest child of the Oliver clan, is Oklahoma Real Estate Academy’s Academy Coordinator. But as you all may know, in a family-owned business, you don’t get to wear just one hat. Jory can often be found writing test questions, working on the website, writing curriculum, or teaching a class. But on top of all of that, Jory has a true servant’s heart and the patience of a saint. No student ever need fear calling our academy with any question.

Academy Coordinator & Instructor

Zach Oliver

Zach, the middle child, is Oklahoma Real Estate Academy’s Business Development Manager. But much like Jory, this is one of many hats he can be seen wearing. He has experience managing a mid-size real estate brokerage and is currently quite active in real estate sales, which lends well to his instructing roles in Pre-license all the way through Broker classes. Zach is a critical thinker and truly enjoys the process of solving problems and working with a team.

Business Development & Instructor

Melanie Cummisky

My role is to assist in enrolling students, organizing classes, accounting functions, and any day-to-day activities to help make our school the best it can be.

I've been a realtor for Coldwell Banker Select with the LuXeGroup since the end of 2020. Before real estate, I was in the insurance industry for 25 years. I have enjoyed the variety and flexibility being a realtor has provided me. Having attended pre-license, post-license, and continuing education classes with OREA, I know the value the school brings to its students.

Servicing others is what the school does best and why I love working here. I've participated in organizing United Way campaigns, community investment projects, and local volunteer opportunities that have allowed me to serve at a large corporate level down to the local grassroots level and see the impact servicing others can have. Servicing our students is what I enjoy the most. It's exciting to see eager future real estate agents ready to jump into a real estate career and be able to help educate them on the process so they can start a new chapter in their lives.

In my downtime, I enjoy cheering on my three favorite teams: Oklahoma Sooners (mine & my husband's favorite), Arkansas Razorbacks (my oldest son is an alumnus) - "Woo Pig Sooie" and the Colorado Buffaloes (my youngest son is a Sophmore there) - "SKO Buffs."
